Our lead specialist, Raghu Murthy, along with Shubhadip Das, travelled to 29Metals' Golden Grove to upgrade their Micromine Pitram system and showcase the latest features. This visit couldn't have come at a better time, aligning perfectly with 29Metals' plans to improve their Emergency Management and Data Management processes as part of their continuous improvement focus across the operation. Thank you to Scott Prentice, Robert Gelson, and Mahesh Kerai for hosting us on-site, and to Amy Cockerton, MAusIMM, Geology Manager, for taking the time to explain their processes. It was a pleasure discussing how Micromine Pitram can improve and streamline their workflows. A big shoutout to Ryan Pearce and Tanya Shaddick from the Mine Control team for their key role in data capture and for providing a thorough overview of mine operations. Also, thanks to on-site IT admin Deni Gunawan for ensuring everything ran smoothly from a tech standpoint. This major upgrade will enhance Micromine Pitram's adoption on-site by providing greater visibility into their real-time #data, which can be used to understand operational efficiency and enable cross-departmental collaboration for improved reporting across the #mines. Meet the Microminer | Yovani Achata Flores joined the company in 2023 as a Technical Solutions Specialist, bringing his expertise in mine planning and design. With a background in Mining Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, he uses #software to optimise #mining processes and solve complex challenges.    In his spare time, Yovani combines creativity with tech, working on unique projects like playing Tetris with block models. He's also a car enthusiast, passionate about driving fast on the track while always considering the physics of energy conservation, centripetal force, and traction.
