We were honored to welcome the Fundación YPF team to the Rig Direct® Academy in Veracruz, Mexico, to share insights into our training and testing center. During the visit, Cesar Gutierrez, Field Services Global Senior Director at Tenaris, highlighted the Rig Direct® Academy’s key role in training and certifying our field services teams. He also outlined the main stages in the development of our in-house rig, inaugurated in 2016 to perform full-scale testing of new technologies. “Since its opening, the Rig Direct® Academy has become the heart of our training processes for rig operations, both for our team and our customers. Here, we train our field services and technical sales engineers in a real rig setting, deepening their understanding of field operations,” explained César Gutiérrez. The group also toured TenarisTamsa, our seamless pipe mill, gaining firsthand insight into our production processes.
