    We’re currently adding the finishing touches to Stats and are launching in less than 9 hours! Here’s what’s been happening over the last few weeks and how we’ve approached design at Cleve (as a 3 person early stage startup in 🇲🇾) First, a bit of backstory At Cleve.ai we believe in a future where millions more people will be sharing their ideas, experiences and knowledge at scale in the form of content. We’ve been building a series of hyperpersonalised AI tools to make this easier. We started with content generation, then note-taking, AI editing, content ideation and we’ve wanted to extend that to analytics and data, to be as helpful as possible to business leaders who are trying to build their brand in limited time. In December we were thinking of building the analytics module (Stats), though while we were designing it, Spotify Wrapped came out and we thought - Hey we could probably launch Stats in a similar way. This led to the design of the #LinkedInUnwrapped campaign that went on to get 100k downloads in 4 weeks. Designing the #LinkedInUnwrapped had a lot of interesting constraints. It was engineered for virality, so the primary design goal was creating something that would be shareable and fun. We had a number of other pages that we initially designed for but left out in the final version, as while they’d be helpful to the user, they might not be as shareable or interesting to their audience. With Stats things are different. Our only design goal and what we’re optimising for is being as useful as possible to the user, and providing the key insights that would help people with their brand & content journey. This led to lots more innovations with the additional freedom. Designing Stats We started the design process in the first week of January and reached out to our Pro and Lite users to hop on calls to understand their challenges. Every week I’d have two days blocked off my calendar just for this. At the same time, we scoured hundreds of forums and articles to understand what people were looking for. We then designed iteratively to incorporate the user requests into the design, alongside things that intuitively made sense to us as creators ourselves. We iterated for hours on the data visualisations, prompt engineering and design, got early feedback from users and kept repeating this rapid iteration cycle. And we’ll continue iterating even after the first reports are released later today so do send in your feedback too for subsequent reports :) Stats will roll out to all Cleve Lite and Pro users automatically later (you’ll see a Stats tab in your Cleve dashboard).     11,000 people have gotten their #LinkedInUnwrapped and it's growing faster by the hour. (Update, 27/12 - 3 days later, we're at 35,000!! 🥹 Wilddd) 7 days ago we launched the LinkedIn Unwrapped (cleve.ai/unwrapped). It was a fun project we built in 2 weeks after Spotify Wrapped came out. We thought it might be cool to create the Wrapped for LinkedIn. Apparently others thought it was cool too haha. We got initial traction from our home country Malaysia, then Singapore, then US, UK, India, Indonesia, Finland, Germany, Spain, Mexico - and it's now reached over 100+ countries. Everyone from uni students, startup founders, consultants, to even the CEO's of public listed companies (including the CEO of Pepsico Latin America!) were posting about their year Unwrapped. From people with 2 posts in the year, to 3000+ posts in a year (current record). But the best part was in the comments. People were celebrating each other's 2024, especially the lessons, milestones and memories. We processed over 100,000 posts to achieve this and many people shared how this helped them reflect, feel a greater sense of self and pride in their wins. I'm really glad we got to play a small role in reconnecting people this end of year and spreading a little warmth and happiness too. We're just a team of 3 Gen Z's btw - me, Lizzie Tan and Muhammad Fathy Rashad. Today actually marks Cleve.ai's 1st year birthday, so it's a really nice surprise 🎂 We've got so much more exciting work in the AI space planned for 2025. We'll continue focusing on delivering really personal and human AI experiences that support you - whether in building your personal brand, or more broadly in amplifying your capabilities as a human.     We just crossed 11k profiles Unwrapped and it's Cleve.ai's birthday! Cleve turns 1 this year. But Cleve's story started back in 2019... with 2 university kids who loved creating content. Ashvin and I teamed up to start offering content services on LinkedIn. Timing was perfect. The pandemic hit, and everyone was scrambling to go online. In a year, we went from 0 to 10+ retainer clients served from our uni bedrooms. For 4 years, we met so many entrepreneurs - big, small, starting out. The common challenge: They all had incredible missions and stories, but struggled to tell them. Most were caught up in the daily grind, with little time to market themselves. So we thought: wouldn't it be great if there's a tool that could take the ideas in our head and turn them into content in a snap? In December 2023, we started building this tool with Rashad. Cleve started as a simple idea: 💭 Transform messy texts or voice notes into content drafts you can quickly edit. But we wanted to go further than just another AI content tool. So in the next few months we strengthened Cleve's purpose: ✅ Cleve stores all your past content and notes to get context about you ✅ analyses messy notes to help you find patterns in scattered thoughts and surface key ideas ✅ gives personalised content ideas based on profile and preferences Our goal with Cleve isn't AI content, but context-rich content with AI. Cleve's Unwrapped is just a start - there's so much more we've got planned for 2025 :)

    Wow, we just hit over 11k users getting their #LinkedInUnwrapped reports in just a week! Big kudos to Ashvin Praveen & Lizzie Tan for their fantastic work on customer support and outreach during these peak period! In case you missed it, we launched a #SpotifyWrapped twist for LinkedIn a week ago and it's been a trend with hundreds of people sharing them. - With just your LinkedIn profile, you will get stats, summaries, and insights of a whole year's worth of post, in just 1 or few minutes. - Try it for free at cleve.ai/unwrapped Here are some thoughts behind some insights we put on the report. 1. The heatmap chart of your posting activity is inspired by GitHub's contribution heatmap. It's a motivational tool for consistency—that showing up every day matters. I like it because it's something you can control, rather than the result. It’s interactive too. Just hover to see past posts without endless scrolling. We also shows cumulative stats, as a reminder that all the small wins eventually adds up. Anyway, I've always wanted the same heatmap for posting content, and we finally made it a reality, and soon gonna be rolled out to Cleve's own notes/posts. 2. The top posts are mainly to add value to the readers rather than just about the author. To quickly curate their best writing. 3. LinkedIn Buddies was for virality factor and to show appreciation to people that supported you. We were hoping people to tag their buddies and it worked! It's based on most frequent commenters on your low performing post btw. Some people found the accuracy a bit off, but it's most likely due the low sample size, as we only scan from a small sample to save cost. 4. The Persona was inspired from other viral MBTI or personality tests. People love to learn and share about themselves. It also builds a sense of community within same type, making them likely to comment on each other. We also added 'other creators like you', with the goal for people to tag the big influencers. 5. Monthly summary and top 10 lessons are part of our vision to make Cleve more than just a generic AI writer, but also a second brain where you can collect your thoughts, organize, reflect, and share it easily as content that sounds just like you. Growing your personal brand along the way So these are features we planned for Cleve where you will get weekly, monthly, or yearly summaries/lessons of your thoughts to help you reflect and get sharable insights from your notes. We believe there are many with valuable knowledge, but most are too busy with life to write down and share their story. With Cleve, we want to make knowledge transfer as effortless and as scalable as possible, from extracting and organizing their core insights, to scaling the distribution of this knowledge as accessible as possible.
