Held from 25 to 27 October at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, this prestigious event, themed 'Healthcare: The Next Frontier,' focused on transforming healthcare through innovation, technology, and collaboration. His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, officiated the opening of this flagship event. Organised by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and KPJ Healthcare Bhd, with strategic support from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), this prestigious national event brought together global healthcare leaders, professionals, innovators and policymakers to explore groundbreaking advancements, exchange knowledge and forge partnerships aimed at elevating the quality, accessibility and sustainability of healthcare. At the conference, Smartpeep and NexoPrima respectively showcased their groundbreaking solutions aimed at tackling critical challenges in the healthcare sector. We are proud to have participated in the APAC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Summit – Humanity Rebalanced in partnership with our Sustainability Strategic Partner, LeadWomen, as one of the Summit Allies. At the summit, our Head of Risk & Sustainability, NURUL DIANA INTAN ZAFIRAH, ERM, contributed to The Great Debate: What’s Next for DEI – Pivot or Progress? Representing Team Progress, she shared key insights on how DEI initiatives can evolve while staying aligned with their core purpose, contributing alongside thought leaders from Nestlé Malaysia, ExxonMobil, PETRONAS, the Bank of International Settlements, and PwC Malaysia. We were also honoured to facilitate the Gender Action Lab (GAL) during the summit, a collaborative initiative between UN Women and LeadWomen in Malaysia. We were honoured to be one of the exhibitors at the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) 2024, contributing to discussions and initiatives shaping the future of smart cities and digital economies. During the convention's Opening Ceremony, we witnessed a significant milestone with the MoU exchange between Cyberview and Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec). This strategic partnership focuses on the development of the Integrated Circuit (IC) Design Park Phase 2 in Cyberjaya, aimed at driving investment, ecosystem, and industry growth over the next two years. This collaboration will catalyse Cyberjaya's role as a tech hub and innovation leader. Additionally, the ceremony witnessed a product preview and official company launch of TEASK, a company that benefitted from our Soft Landing Zone (SLZ) and collaborated under our Living Lab®️ Pilot initiative to install its first mobile energy charging station at Cyberjaya.  During the exhibition, we welcomed numerous visitors to our booth, where we had the pleasure of connecting with individuals keen on learning more about our efforts and how we are helping to drive innovation in Cyberjaya. The Cyberjaya Digital Creative Circuit 2024 (CIRC8), hosted by Cyberview, successfully concluded after two dynamic days of discussions, networking, and creative showcases. The event commenced with an official opening ceremony, where we were honoured to welcome YB Puan Nie Ching Teo, Deputy Minister of Communications, as our Guest of Honour. A key highlight of the ceremony was the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding between Monsta Sdn Bhd and Cyberview Sdn Bhd, as well as the exchange of a Letter of Intent between TODAK® HOLDINGS SDN BHD and Cyberview Sdn Bhd. These strategic partnerships underscore our commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within Cyberjaya's growing digital and creative ecosystem. Additionally, there was also a panel session on The Future of Digital Creativity: Navigating AI, Innovation & Human Touch, which featured industry leaders from REV Media Group, and Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan, ASWARA. The discussion provided an in-depth exploration of how AI and technology are transforming the creative industry while emphasising the importance of maintaining the human touch in this rapidly evolving sector. Day two of CIRC8 continued to engage attendees with various interactive activities, including digital arts showcases, a mini arcade, an animation screening, and fan-favourite Meet and Greets with local animation heroes. The MONSTA Galaxy Card Tournament and the screening of Mechamato Season 3 were among the highlights, drawing significant interest from the community. CIRC8 has reaffirmed Cyberjaya's position as a thriving hub for digital and creative innovation. Another productive day for the CLLA Cohort 19 - 10th Anniversary Special Edition start-ups at CoPlace 10. We began with a Leadership and People Management workshop led by Mallory Loone, Co-founder of Work Inspire. During the workshop, participants focused on developing a talent management strategy, creating a high-performance culture within a start-up environment, identifying leadership styles aligned with company-specific competency models, and crafting actionable implementation plans. In the afternoon, Iskandar Shafi'i, Director at Growth Charger, and Sean Liew, Venture Development at Growth Charger, conducted a session on Marketing 102 - Customer Focus Marketing. This session provided valuable marketing insights for the start-ups.
