We're thrilled to share that the press conference for the 23rd Charity Jam Session yesterday was a fantastic success! A huge thank you to our amazing organizing committee, including Amari Kuala Lumpur, Professional Culinaire Association (PCA), Rotary Club of Metro Kuala Lumpur, and Society of the Golden Keys, for their hard work alongside the Food Aid Foundation. The 23rd Charity Jam Session, themed "Embrace Music, Unite to Heal," will bring us together through the power of music for a noble cause! Local bands will be performing to support this heartfelt initiative, and we want to thank these talented musicians for their generosity. Join us on August 11th from 12pm till midnight at Amari Kuala Lumpur. All proceeds will benefit the Pediatric ICU of PPUM and the Food Aid Foundation. Let's come together and make a difference. Responding swiftly to this crisis, 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗵, under the leadership of Chairman Darren Liew and Vice Chairman Dato Winnie Lee, has taken decisive action to support those affected. In a commendable effort, the team, accompanied by dedicated members, distributed 200 packs of food to flood victims who have sought refuge at the Sabah Cultural Center. This immediate relief aims to alleviate the distress faced by those impacted by the flooding. We at 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 extend our heartfelt kudos to the Food Aid Sabah team for their speedy response and unwavering dedication. Today, the Food Aid Foundation Kelantan Branch team embarked on a heartfelt journey to Pulau Seratus, Tumpat, to bring care and support to the island villages nestled along the Kelantan River. Our mission began at dawn and extended until twilight. With compassion as our guide, we delivered 30 boxes to the boat drivers, ensuring they felt the warmth of our community's gratitude. At the Pulau Seratus jetty, we handed over 90 boxes to eager recipients, their smiles lighting up the serene waters around us. Visiting 5 asnaf households, we delivered donation boxes, filling their homes with hope and sustenance.
