Hess is supporting Prairie Grit Adptive Sports and Therapy’s 2024 Summer Adaptive Sports Programs, which provide a variety of inclusive sporting opportunities for youth and adults living with physical and mental disabilities to enhance their quality of life in Minot, North Dakota. We contributed $27,000 to support the nonprofit’s summer programming including its iCan Bike Camp, adaptive soccer, dance camps, wheelchair basketball camps, adaptive fishing and many other activities.   Additionally, Hess volunteers participated in the five-day iCan Bike Camp to help individuals with special needs learn to ride a two-wheeled bicycle.   Learn more about our community involvement: https://lnkd.in/gU2Y72nC

Hess provided support to the Stanley Community Park District in Stanley, North Dakota for a rock-climbing wall as part of a community investment project. Hess was recently featured in Offshore magazine’s 2024 July/August issue with an article co-authored by Jacob Vizinat, Hess Senior Manager, Offshore Technology and Jason Harry, Hess Advisor, Technology & Innovation.   The article, “Empowering a Digital Future: Human-Centric, Agile Collaboration for Offshore Innovation,” discusses how offshore operators are exploring the use of digital innovation to maximize value, optimize asset performance and reduce impacts to the environment. Hess honored eight North Dakota 4-H and FFA high school seniors with its annual scholarship program in partnership with the North Dakota State Fair Foundation. In a special ceremony at the 2024 North Dakota State Fair in Minot, ND, Hess awarded a total of $40,000 in 2024 scholarships to the awardees. Each recipient is dedicated to pursuing secondary education or training that supports the community or the oil and gas industry.   Earlier this year, Hess also contributed a total of $10,000 in grants to National 4-H Council Clubs and National FFA Organization Chapters in North Dakota that would benefit their communities.   Learn more about our community involvement: https://lnkd.in/gde5uhj8   #community #education

Our Hess volunteers recently participated in the four-week Camp Adventure summer learning program hosted by the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, Houston ISD and Children's Museum Houston.
