Molecor SEA participated CAMWATER 2024 on 11-13 September 2024, which held in DIECC (Koh Pich), Phnom Penh, #Cambodia. Mr Walter Philip PATTYNAMA, CEO of Molecor SEA had the honor of meeting with H.E. Oum Sotha, Secretary of State, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation. H.E. Sotha was very interested in learning on how #PVCO pipes and technology can help Cambodia to establish a leakage-free water distribution network and how #Molecor can contribute to Cambodia's ambitions to achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all, and to end open defecation. Molecor SEA showcased the technical and environmental benefits of TOM® pipes and ecoFITTOM® PVC-O fittings for pressurized water and sewerage application. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visiting our booth. It was a pleasure meeting so many passionate and engaged individuals. If you missed us at the event or have any further inquiries, don’t hesitate to reach out via our email at inquiry.malaysia@molecor.com.

  • Product Technical Session: Introducing #PVCO Pipes to Air Kelantan (AKSB) for enhancing Water Supply & Efficiency. On last Sunday, 8 September 2024, #Molecor SEA hosted a technical product talk to Air Kelantan (AKSB) in Grand Riverview Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Molecor SEA took the opportunity to share the cutting-edge solution of pipeline which is reliable and efficient, also emphasizing the seamless field application and installation. As Air Kelantan (AKSB) continues to upgrade its water supply infrastructure, PVC-O pipes offer numerous advantages, addressing key challenges such as aging infrastructure, non-revenue water (NRW), and the need for more durable and sustainable materials. One of the key issues is Non-Revenue Water (#NRW) due to leaks and pipeline failures. PVC-O pipes are designed to significantly reduce leakage rates because of their enhanced strength, flexibility, and joint integrity. By integrating PVC-O pipes into water distribution system, AKSB can achieve measurable reductions in NRW, resulting in both water conservation and increased revenue. Key Benefits of PVC-O Pipes: 1. Superior Strength and Durability PVC-O pipes can handle higher internal pressure, reducing the risk of burst pipes and service interruptions. 2. Lightweight and Easy Installation Compared to traditional materials like ductile iron or concrete, PVC-O pipes are much lighter. This translates to easier handling, faster installation, and reduced labor costs. 3. Enhanced Hydraulic Performance PVC-O pipes offer exceptional hydraulic efficiency. Their smooth inner surface minimizes friction, allowing water to flow more freely and reducing energy costs associated with pumping. 4. Long Lifespan and Sustainability The extended lifespan of PVC-O pipes, typically exceeding 100 years, makes them an environmentally friendly choice. Their high resistance to corrosion and chemical degradation ensures long-term service with minimal maintenance, offering a cost-effective and sustainable solution. The long lifecycle and recyclability of PVC-O make it an eco-friendlier material compared to traditional alternatives, aligning with AKSB’s #sustainability goals. Molecor SEA hopes the knowledge and technology sharing session is beneficial for all. Together, we are paving the way for a future where access to clean and reliable water is guaranteed for all.
