Happy Afternoon Loves "Indian Crab Rasam: Zen-Approved Healthy Nandu Soup" Rasam, a Zen nutritious Indian spiced soup, is already a powerhouse on its own. Now, imagine adding crab claws (often called crab legs) to it – transforming it into what’s known as Indian Crab Soup or Nandu Rasam. This dish becomes an explosion of Zen flavors and nourishment for the mouth, throat, and stomach, embodying #mindfuleating without sacrificing taste. Despite its health benefits, Nandu Rasam is surprisingly absent from buffet tables, social gatherings, and functions among Indians. While crab dishes often make appearances at family events, this flavorful soup is usually overlooked. Instead, spicy mutton, spicy chicken, sambar, and kurma dominate the scene - even though they’re not necessarily more cost-effective. Could this omission be contributing to the rising #obesity rates in the Indian community? After all, a bowl of crab rasam is a mindful, lighter alternative to carb-heavy, meaty meals, particularly during dinner, which is often served after 8 pm. Crab Rasam is also a Zen natural remedy for cold, flu, and congestion - have you tried it? In my home, whenever I prepare crab, the claws or legs are reserved for Nandu Rasam. It's my Zen style to my tradition, and pairing a spicy crab dish with this flavorful soup turns lunch into a truly delightful experience. There’s nothing quite like pouring rasam over rice, enjoying it alongside the crab and a veggie dish. #ZenCuisine #ZenInsights #LifeAt60s Ms Nava

Happy Afternoon Loves "Age as the Power Play: Younger Women’s Marketing Weapon" What’s trending among women in the 21st century? The spotlight on age is becoming increasingly central to how women present themselves. Traditionally, younger generations often perpetuated stereotypes, such as "you can’t teach old dogs new tricks," or implied that older adults faced health issues due to boredom or a craving for attention. But the narrative is undergoing a remarkable shift. Women are now celebrating their age and incorporating hashtags like #AgingGracefully, and #AgeIsANumber, into their #personalbranding. It's fascinating to see women in their late 20s and 30s leveraging age as a marketing tool, showcasing their vitality, fitness, and youthful looks on social media. This trend prompts intriguing questions: If women in their 20s and 30s are rebranding age as a positive attribute, what does this mean for women in their 60s, such as Ms. Nava? Are women in my age group being categorized as "no age"? Interestingly, older women, who once guarded their age closely, are now embracing it openly as part of their business and personal branding, aiming to stay relevant alongside younger generations. Meanwhile, younger women are promoting age-related themes while privately seeking aesthetic treatments and pushing products like skincare and slimming solutions. Social media has become a vibrant arena where age is both celebrated and commercialized. From showcasing well-maintained bodies and gym workouts to yoga in minimal attire, these activities are often linked to products or brands endorsed by influencers. Mental health, too, is a hot topic among younger women, drawing in their mothers as examples of youthful appearances due to certain products. What’s your perspective on how age is being utilized in today’s marketing landscape? How do you view the portrayal of age across different generations? I’d love to hear your thoughts! (Note: Insights on aesthetic and slimming treatments are based on real data shared by aesthetic doctors with Ms. Nava and are not speculative.) #ZenInsights #LifeAt60s

"Obesity in Indian Women in Malaysia: Yoga as Holistic Wellness" Social media has significantly shaped attitudes towards weight and body image among Indian women. The platform has fostered a culture of body acceptance and self-confidence, where #overweight and #obese individuals often receive praise and support for their #socialmedia activities, such as dance performances. This public endorsement contributes to a growing narrative that being overweight is acceptable and even celebrated, reinforcing societal acceptance of larger body sizes. #ZenInsights #LifeAt60s Ms Nava #navaszen

Happy Morning World "No Pain, No Gain' Mindset in Yoga" In the fast-paced world of the 21st century, people are struggling with restless sleep, constant stress, and the relentless pursuit of success. The prevailing mantra is "no time," leading to a balancing act that often neglects self-care. At #navaszen, our #zenyoga approach offers a refreshing alternative. We focus on slowing down and connecting with the breath, body, mind, and soul through gentle poses tailored to individual capacity. Unlike high-intensity routines that exacerbate pain points, our practice emphasizes ease and mindfulness. Interestingly, some clients struggle to embrace this gentle approach. They express disappointment when they don’t experience the #painpoints they associate with effective yoga or have encountered in previous sessions elsewhere. This "no pain, no gain" mindset persists, even though chronic pain and injury, particularly knee and leg pain, are common outcomes of such approaches. Some people face issues like knee replacements, only to have the pain return later due to insufficient flexibility and strength practice. In a world already burdened with stress and pain, it's surprising that some seek even more. Those who appreciate our gentle Zen Yoga understand the value of a practice that prioritizes well-being over unnecessary discomfort. Yet, some - often high-achieving professionals - cling to the outdated belief that true benefit only comes with pain. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. What is your opinion on the "no pain, no gain" mindset? Do you believe that experiencing pain during yoga and beyond is necessary? (Ms Nava, a Zen entrepreneur in her 60s, founded Nava's Zen at 58. With 22 years as a lecturer, including 13 years in the Curtin University of Technology Perth, Australia Degree Twinning Program, she is now a certified yoga instructor, coach, and counselor. Her expertise enriches her current work). #LifeAt60s #ZenInsights

When we called corporations to obtain the contact information of the person in charge, we encountered several issues. Often, the individuals who answered the calls did not understand the purpose of our inquiry despite repeated explanations. Some were unable to provide the necessary email addresses, and others were outright uninterested without further inquiry. One large international college informed us that decisions about corporate yoga were made by the principal, but the email address could not be provided due to organizational culture. A few responses were dismissive, suggesting that there was no need for corporate yoga, while some cited religious reasons for opposing it. Ms Nava #mentalhealth #corporateyoga #LifeAt60s
