We are excited to announce that OSK Property has appointed construction company Multiplex, and broken ground this week on BLVD, the latest tower within OSK Property’s $3 billion Melbourne Square precinct. Multiplex, which also built the first two towers in Stage 1 of Melbourne Square, will now commence construction of the 74-storey tower, starting in July and expected to be completed in Q1 2028. This milestone comes just nine months after BLVD’s official launch in October 2023. Having achieved over 50 percent of sales, construction commencing at BLVD marks another significant moment for Melbourne Square, which has already enhanced the Southbank precinct with publicly accessible amenities like a 3,745sqm park, full-line Woolworths supermarket, an early learning centre and a growing range of retail destinations. BLVD will deliver much-needed residential stock to Southbank, bringing together 602 residences, and offering a host of amenities including private dining rooms, state-of-the-art gyms, a 25m indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, golf simulator, entertainment and lounge spaces, and a double-storey co-working area on levels 55 and 56. “The BLVD groundbreaking represents a major milestone for the Melbourne Square precinct, which has two existing towers and will also feature a build-to-rent tower alongside the build-to-sell residences”, says OSK Group Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat. "Commencing construction represents the culmination of team effort between OSK Property and our project partners, and our unwavering commitment to BLVD and the entire Melbourne Square precinct.” “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, esteemed project partners, and diligent sales agents for their incredible work across BLVD to date, and are looking forward to seeing this tower come to life,” he said.
