  • As the AI grid takes shape, telcos are uniquely positioned to lead the way. But it’s more than just a business opportunity for the sector. It presents a platform for fundamental reinvention and growth—and a proof point of the sector’s capacity to enable all the other domains of growth. Discover how AI deployment is quickly becoming the standard in network management in PwC’s Global Telecoms Outlook: https://pwc.to/4kl4Khg #Telecom #Digital #AI

  • "Growing up in a family of STEM and healthcare professionals, I often questioned my choice of a corporate career. If I wasn't saving lives, what was my purpose? Studying economics and finance was a choice guided by a scholarship I received at a time when I wasn't even sure what I wanted. As if letting myself fall right into place, it was during my studies at the University of Edinburgh that I discovered a passion for understanding the stories and patterns behind numbers. It was fascinating to see how data could reveal narratives about human behaviour and decision-making. Having benefited from the scholarship, I wanted to give back to the community that had invested in me—so I knew my journey had to begin back home. I learnt about PwC through stories from seniors and peers who, funnily enough, all seemed to gravitate towards the firm. They spoke so positively of their experiences there, so much so that when the time came to decide my career path, I knew it had to be either PwC or exploring something entirely different in another industry. My passion for figuring (pun intended) things out and my desire to give back now fuel my role in Valuations at PwC. Each project and industry I explored through my work helped me gain a deeper understanding of my purpose. It's not ER, but I know my work positively impacts local businesses and communities—be it through helping businesses recognise their worth, plan for the future, or make smarter financial decisions. It was a revelation to see how my role uniquely contributes to others' wellbeing. A few years back, I faced a lot of uncertainty and anxiety about where I wanted to be. Now, I have more faith in what I do and have learnt to trust the opportunities that come my way—truly, God knows what I can make of them." - Nur Iffah Halim (Associate, Deals) #MYPwCExperience
