    𝗣𝗩𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗣𝗹𝗮'𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 (𝗦𝗔𝗠) technology offers advanced inspection capabilities with versatile scan modes such as Through-Transmission, Pulse-Echo, and C-Scan, the SAM systems detect internal defects in semiconductors, composites, metals, and ceramics. These technologies are essential for ensuring the highest quality in manufacturing and R&D. 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀: 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵-𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 (𝗧𝗧): o In this mode, the ultrasonic waves are transmitted through the entire sample thickness, with the receiver on the opposite side capturing the transmitted signal. This mode is effective for detecting delaminations and voids within the material, as any discontinuity will attenuate the transmitted signal. 𝟮. 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲-𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 (𝗣𝗘): o The Pulse-Echo mode involves the transducer emitting and receiving ultrasonic waves from the same side of the sample. This mode is ideal for detecting surface and subsurface defects, as the reflected waves from discontinuities are captured and analyzed. 𝟯. 𝗖-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: o The C-Scan mode creates a two-dimensional map of the internal structure by scanning across the surface of the material. This mode provides a detailed visualization of the internal features, making identifying and locating defects like voids, inclusions, and delaminations easy. 𝟰. 𝗔-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻: o A-Scan: Provides a single line scan showing the time-domain signal, useful for precise depth measurements of features. o B-Scan: Offers a cross-sectional view along a single line, allowing for the examination of depth-related features across a sample. 𝟱. 𝗫-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲: o X-Scan mode captures a single horizontal (X-axis) slice or plane of the sample. The transducer moves across the surface along the X-axis to generate a detailed image of a single layer. 𝟲. 𝗭-𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲: o Z-Scan mode involves scanning in the vertical (Z-axis) direction to analyze different depth levels within the material.
