Highlights from The Fourth's experience at UNLEASH in Kigali, Rwanda! The team spent an intense week innovating and coming up with new ideas for the Fourth Academy, and working on them with our mentor Margarita Ursu and experts including Rishabh Lalani Ioan Istrate Nick Koh Mimi Liu Nicolas Laing Diana Orembe Edward Stern Shruti Shah Wayne Lifshitz. While we did not get to go on the Dragon's Den pitch, one of the best parts of the week was meeting fellow Unleash Plus members and changemakers from all around the world, who worked on solutions including Education Bridge for Afghanistan EBA a virtual education platform for Afghan girls, and Seekr AI tech to help the visually impaired. This process has given us a wider perspective on the state of journalism across the globe, and inspires us to continue on our mission here to defend social justice. The Fourth is repping Malaysia 🇲🇾 at UNLEASH Rwanda! We’re joining hundreds of global changemakers to collectively scale up our social impact. Our Fourth Academy team (which runs our award-winning training programmes) were selected for UNLEASH’s impact incubator earlier this year.
