ILSAS is now ready for Electric Vehicles Technologies TNB Integrated Learning Solution Sdn Bhd (ILSAS), has been a cornerstone for developing human capital tailored to meet the evolving needs of TNB and the broader electricity supply industry for over 46 years. With the impending energy transition (ET), the integration of new green technologies becomes imperative for TNB and industry sustainability and that of the industry as a whole. In response to this, ILSAS has expanded its focus to encompass ET-related skill sets and technologies, including battery electric vehicles (BEV), battery storage, and on-grid floating solar PV. With a specific focus on BEVs, ILSAS is committed to raising awareness and nurturing fresh talent within the BEV sector through innovative learning interventions. By forging strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders such as the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), PLUS Malaysia Berhad, iLatest Technology Sdn. Bhd. and Bermaz Auto Berhad, ILSAS has successfully implemented a range of initiatives: Deployment of internationally certified internal EV specialists:- 2 internal specialists successfully graduated with Level 3 certifications in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement from The Institute of Motor Industry (IMI), United Kingdom. Establishment of an EV training hub: - The Electric Vehicle Training Hub @ ILSAS was formally officiated on 10 January 2023, by YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, the then Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change. This course can improve four-wheel drive vehicle driving skills with the correct technique for the protection and safety of either yourself or your passengers. 3. The program offered can help improve four-wheel drive vehicle driving skills, the use of the correct gear mode, off-road driving, recovery techniques, and the use of winching when the vehicle is stuck. 4. Participants were also exposed to hazards during off-road driving, night driving, crossing rivers and wooden bridges. Course objectives 1. 4 wheel drive vehicle driving skills and techniques in various situations (crossing rivers, muddy paths, wooden bridges, climbing and descending hills). 2. Explains the preparation, use and capabilities of 4 wheel drive vehicles. 3. Identify and explain the function of each 4 wheel drive vehicle body protection accessory. 4. Proficient in the use of hand signals with the correct technique. 5. Proficient in operating a winch and 4wd gear mode on a 4 wheel drive vehicle with the correct technique (2H, 4H and 4L). 6.
