Brand and Social Media Specialist

The Brand Marketing team is in charge of the branding and marketing strategies of Write Edge. We work together closely with the different departments such as the director, Customer Relations and the Curriculum team to reach our goals for the Singapore market.

Write Edge is looking for a Brand and Social Media Specialist (Remote Position) with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Our goal is to become Singapore's Leading English and Writing Enrichment Specialist and we are looking for someone who can help us get there.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, brand awareness, and customer retention.
  • Manage daily posts, interact with followers, and monitor social media trends to adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee the social media strategy for the Malaysia market, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.

Content Creation:

  • Generate compelling and relevant content that aligns with the brand’s identity and marketing goals. This could range from writing posts and designing graphics to producing videos and coordinating content schedules.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of social media activities using analytics tools to track user engagement, assess the effectiveness of different content types and campaigns, and make data-driven decisions to improve future marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other marketing and communications teams to ensure a unified marketing message.
  • Coordinate with sales, PR, and customer service teams to streamline the brand’s online presence and promotional activities.

Brand Strategy Development:

  • Develop long-term plans to boost brand awareness, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for brand growth through social media.

Customer Interaction and Feedback:

  • Manage online reviews and handle customer feedback on social media to maintain a positive brand image and improve customer satisfaction.

Public Relations (PR):

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the brand’s image and reputation.
  • Coordinate with media outlets to secure coverage for the brand’s initiatives and events.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
  • Manage relationships with key media contacts and influencers to ensure positive media coverage.
  • Monitor and analyse PR campaign performance, making adjustments to improve effectiveness.

Marketing Operations and Email Communication:

  • Design and manage email campaigns, including crafting content, segmenting audiences, and analysing the impact on target metrics such as open rates and conversions.
  • Utilise CRM tools to refine marketing strategies and improve customer relationship management through targeted communication.

Event Coordination and Promotional Management:

  • Organise and manage brand-related events such as product launches, webinars, and industry conferences, overseeing event marketing materials and managing post-event follow-ups.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns that align with the brand’s strategic goals, coordinating with product teams and managing the logistics to ensure successful implementation.

Influencer Management:

  • Identify and engage with relevant influencers to promote the brand and expand its reach.
  • Develop and manage influencer partnerships, ensuring alignment with the brand’s values and marketing objectives.
  • Track and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, making adjustments as necessary to optimise results.

Email Marketing:

  • Design, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the brand’s strategic goals.
  • Segment email lists based on target audiences and personalise content to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Analyse email marketing performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance future campaigns.

Oversee Malaysia Social Media Strategy:

  • Together with the Malaysia team, develop and implement a tailored social media strategy for the Malaysia market.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all social media platforms in Malaysia.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of social media activities in Malaysia, making adjustments as necessary to meet regional objectives.

Commitment Period: Full Time

Working Hours: Mon - Fri: 9am - 6pm
