H.L. When you also grew up with 90s melodic or symphonic black metal SECRETS is for you! "Towards the Nightside" spreads the same spirit and also the organic sound and the spheric keyboards remember me at these glorious days of my favourite genre. The atmosphere is right from the beginning to end, only the songs could vary a bit more to stay in mind as individuals. Check "Pagan Dreams" or "Bleeding Black Sacrament" to get an impression of this amazing time travel. Favorite track: Bleeding Black Sacrament.

Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) On ne pourra pas dire que le patronyme Secrets s'applique au groupe : si Sortilege est inconnu, il compte dans ses rangs Swartadauþuz, Esoterica (ou Alex Poole), Likpredikaren qui a participé à la gloire du premier et du second, et le batteur Juhos — autrement dit des légendes du black metal atmosphérique. Par contre, il s'applique bien à la musique de Towards the Nightside car le supergroupe accomplit un rituel visant à contrôler les étoiles. Les synthés sont stellaires, le black metal magique. Favorite track: Shining Spear of Starlight.

Inspiraatiota on selkeästi otettu Emperorista ja kuulostaa Gardsghastrin "Slit Throat Requiem" albumin henkiseltä jatko-osalta. Täydellinen sekoitus sinfonisen black metallin faneille. Michael Shover 🤣🤣🤣 I love the music the most, but the Lik vs Likpredikaren is hilarious. If this is between Lik the band and Likpredikaren as a person, then that's idiotic reasoning to think they're the same. I enjoy Lik the band and Secrets. Secrets is perfect and this label never disappoints.

A really good debut of bleak and dissonant black metal, embellished with a few interesting melodies here and there. The production is organic and powerful, featuring great chunky guitar tones, balanced structures with paced intensity, not excessively lengthy or indulgent but with interludes that work surprisingly well.
