Making A Difference With the generous support of FNB through the FirstRand Namibia Foundation, the Namibia Mathematics Institute received a donation of N$115,000.00 which went towards the training of 19 Senior Secondary Mathematics Teachers in the Omaheke region. The region at present is the 2nd worst performing in the country in Mathematics and has received no interventions in the past ten years. The training follows a very practical, user-friendly and hands-on approach and supplies teachers with training materials including 1200 Map Money Math Sets to aid in the future training of teachers at their respective schools. The Map Maths guides have proven to be a great success in the Oshikoto region over the past four years, giving both teachers and learners a variety of approaches to learning. #FNBNamibia #HelpChangesEverything

Meals for the Future In a generous donation of N$300,000, FNB, through FirstRand Foundation Trust Namibia, sponsored Seawork Cares in their mission of providing underprivileged school children with nutritious meals. The donation will see to it that 1680 underprivileged learners receive nutritious meals twice a day. Beyond providing a healthy meal, the donation will help ensure children remain in school and help them complete their education.
