Sip+Dip Returns to Audubon Zoo's Cool Zoo
Splash into wild summer fun at an exclusive return of the Sip+Dip experience at Audubon Cool Zoo. Starting Friday, June 28, 2024, guests can enjoy adults-only after-hours access to Cool Zoo, including the splash pad and Gator Run lazy river.
Each event has a different theme and gives the grown-ups a chance to relax, enjoy live entertainment, and cruise down the lazy river at this 21+ takeover of the popular water park.
Tickets to Sip+Dip start at $30 per person for general admission, VIP tickets are $50 and include some light food bites and sips. Additional drinks and a limited menu will be available for purchase. Cabanas can be rented for these events and are available the Audubon Member discount does not apply for this afterhours event.
“Cool Zoo is a popular place for families to cool down while visiting Audubon Zoo. Sip+Dip gives the 21 and up crowd a fun evening to enjoy music, sip cocktails, and experience Cool Zoo after hours,” said Audubon Zoo Senior Vice President Daine Appleberry. “We have multiple themed nights planned, so grab your krewe and come indulge in this grown-up oasis at Cool Zoo.”

Cool Zoo, a wild and wet splash park, is one of the top water parks in New Orleans and a hot spot to cool down at Audubon Zoo. Highlights include jumping waterspouts, a huge alligator water slide, spider monkey soakers, and water-spitting snakes. Gator Run, Cool Zoo’s lazy river, features a 750-foot lazy river with two sand beaches, lounge chairs, four water cannons, two water curtains, and jumping jets. The lazy river is three feet deep and takes approximately seven minutes to make a round trip.
