EAGE Local Chapter Nigeria ®

EAGE is a professional association for geoscientists and engineers. It is an organization with a worldwide membership (19,000+ members), providing a global network of Industry and Academic professionals. The EAGE operates two divisions: the Oil & Gas Geoscience Division and the Near Surface Geoscience Division. The Head Office of EAGE is located in the Netherlands, with regional offices in various parts of the world. The EAGE Local Chapter Nigeria was established to promote the activities of the Geosciencists and Engineers and overall EAGE activities (including professional technical training) and provide updates to its members in Nigeria. The Local Chapter Nigeria will also promote the EAGE membership in the area and act in conformity with the Constitution and ByLaws of EAGE. In addition to providing local feedback and requirements to EAGE, the Local Chapter Nigeria has the intention to facilitate connections with other local societies (such as NAPE, AAPG, SPE, ) and then to promote activities that extend beyond a single discipline. The Local Chapter Nigeria will also represent EAGE at Local and International Geoscience events .
