Join the conversation at our Safety Roundtables. Hearing from others is critical to ensuring the safety of humanitarian workers. This is why in all countries INSO seeks to provide a collaborative space where partners can hear and share information with fellow NGOs. Our safety rouundtables are more than just meetings. They're opportunities to collaborate and strategise on mitigating the risks they face in aid delivery. INSO is committed to ensuring that humanitarians can access timely, reliable, and quality safety information through our reports, alerts, and our Conflict and Humanitarian Data Centre. Find out how you can register as an NGO partner here: https://lnkd.in/eR9MVdjJ

Last week, we hosted INSO’s Game of Access with our HQ colleagues and a special guest professor from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences Part of INSO’s Negotiation and Access trainings, Game of Access is an interactive board game designed to help aid workers navigate the complexities of humanitarian access. Teams were tasked with delivering seeds to three towns while encountering real-life challenges like flooded roads, checkpoint delays, and even a teammate resigning last minute! It was important for teams to ensure that they generated acceptance all along the road, whilst managing incidents and investing time into their contact network to be able to distribute their seeds safely. The dilemmas and scenarios sparked long discussions and problem-solving, all in a safe, engaging environment—without the pressures of real-life crisis situations. If you’d like to experience Game of Access but you are not currently working in a country with INSO trainings, you can work through many of the dilemmas and scenarios in our NGO Security Management Online Course.
