Many legendary #startups didn’t start with a polished #product. Their first versions were basic, sometimes even terrible but they #launched, learned, and #iterated their way to #success. Here are three great examples: 1️⃣ #Airbnb – Their first version? A simple #website with air mattresses in a #SanFrancisco apartment. No #investors believed in them, and they even had to sell cereal boxes to stay afloat. Today, Airbnb is a $100B+ #company revolutionizing #travel and #hospitality worldwide. 2️⃣ #Facebook – Mark Zuckerberg’s “TheFacebook” was initially just a scrappy #Harvard student directory with limited #features. It had no #business #model and was exclusive to select universities. Fast forward, and it has become #Meta, shaping the #future of social connection with billions of users. 3️⃣ #Dropbox – Their MVP was literally just a #demo video explaining the idea. They didn’t even have a real product yet! But that video went #viral, brought in thousands of #signups, and helped shape what is now a cloud storage giant valued in the billions. #Building a product #MVP Quickly entails a number of important #considerations, says founder of #Twitch and co-founder at #YCombinator. A minimum viable product is the very first version of your idea and need not be fully formed to be launched. In fact it is often in a crappy, not-so-ready state. It is a beautiful excuse for the initial conversations to begin with your potential clients. 🚀 The lesson?
