On the 21st of May, 2024, I completed an intensive bootcamp in Data Protection. I took a five-week course that helped me understand the intricacies of data protection and the laws that exist to guide its regulation in Nigeria such as the Nigerian Data Protection Act. I am proud to say that having satisfied the facilitators by attending classes and completing my project, I have been issued a certificate by the Nigerian Data Protection Commission for the completion of my Data Protection and Privacy Course. It is indeed an honour, and I would like to specially thank Techminded Lawyers and Legum Limited for organising a bootcamp such as this to impart knowledge into young emerging scholars. I also thank my amazing facilitators Tomisona Olajire Dorcas Tsebee, CIPP/E Chioma Iheagwara and Chidera Claire Ike-Okonkwo for for taking time to really teach and help us through the whole learning process. Finally, I would like to thank my project group teamates Hawau A. and Hauwa Abass for being supportive teamates in the winning group! I cannot wait to make giant strides in this sector.🥳

What does justice mean to you? At Headfort foundation for Justice , we believe in equal access to justice for all. Two of our programs are targeted towards creating easy access to justice. One of these initiatives is the Lawyers Without Borders Project, through this initiative, we set up mobile offices in three states( Lagos,Ogun and Ekiti) where indigent individuals in need of legal representation can walk in and get the legal assistance they need. Similarly, our innovative Lawyers Now Now app provides instant access to legal representation , empowering users to navigate legal complexities conveniently.
