About us

The National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) is a government-owned institution dedicated to delivering world-class training and capacity-building solutions for the Nigerian power sector. Established in 2009, NAPTIN has been at the forefront of producing skilled professionals for the electricity industry and related sectors, contributing to Nigeria's socio-economic development. With eight Regional Training Centers (RTCs) located in Lagos, Niger, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, Rivers, and our corporate headquarters in Abuja, NAPTIN offers both technical and non-technical courses designed to meet the evolving needs of power companies, government agencies, and private sector firms. Our programs include specialized training in areas such as energy management, leadership, ICT, marketing, and auditing. In addition to training, NAPTIN provides research and development, hospitality, and consultancy services tailored to enhance organizational efficiency and drive innovation in the power sector.
