About us
Nigeria Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (NJGH), a publication of Society for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Nigeria (SOGHIN) was founded in 2008 to serve as a medium of disseminating research findings and propagating knowledge. It is intended to be global in outlook and outreach, but with special focus on the African sub-region. Researchers and scientists in basic medical sciences and clinical medicine related to diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and its accessory organs are critical stake holders in this effort. This includes but not limited to medical and surgical specialists, general internists, pathologists, human nutritionists, endocrinologists, nursing scientists, radiologists, radiobiologists and indeed all allied medical specialists. The journal is also an invaluable companion to practitioners in the aforementioned specialties who are desirous of remaining up to date in the practice of gastroenterology and hepatology.
