Thank you for sharing your experience, Queen! We are proud to have leaders like you representing us at such impactful events as the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit. As you highlighted from the #NES30, discussions around public-private partnerships, fiscal and monetary policy reforms, and the empowerment of SMEs point to the critical role of financial institutions in shaping a resilient and prosperous future for Nigeria. We are excited to see how these conversations shape the future.

Attending the just concluded NESG#30 Summit was an enriching experience, centered on the theme of ‘’Collaborative Action for Growth, competitiveness and Stability which emphasized the role of value, trust, and working together to build a stronger nation, safer businesses, and contribute positively to the community. The three-day summit featured pivotal sessions focused on Publica and Private Partnerships, Empowering SMEs for Economic Growth, Fiscal and Monetary Policy Reforms and Africa’s Economic Transformation and Resilience. In attendance were top dignitaries, including His Excellency Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of World Bank, Indermit Gill and The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Atiku Bagudu along with influential leaders from the private sector. I was privileged to attend the CEO Breakfast meeting, with Tony Edeh,Pabina Yinkere where there was an illumination on these key principles—collaboration, value, and trust—as fundamental drivers in fostering sustainable growth, not just for businesses but for society at large. It was a call to action for professionals and organizations to rethink how they engage with stakeholders and the communities they serve. I had the opportunity of engaging with esteemed industry colleagues- past and present,Dayo Omolokun,Zeal Akaraiwe sharing insights on how financial collaboration can enhance organizational and national prosperity. The event provided an excellent platform to forge new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships within the financial and business ecosystem. By connecting with other leaders, I gained valuable perspectives on how to align our goals at Norrenberger with the broader vision of nation-building and community development. These interactions reaffirmed the importance of trust and value-based collaboration in creating lasting impact, both in our businesses and in personal commitments to making a difference in our communities. I look forward to the implementation of many discussed reforms and policies and the feedback of these changes at next year’s edition and would love to congratulate the entire Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) team for such an intentional, engaging, and cohesive event involving both the private and public sector. Bravo and see again soon, come 2025! #NES30 #Norrenberger

I was thrilled to join business/thought leaders and professionals from both the private and public sectors, including regulators yesterday at the NESG Summit (#NES30) during the CEO Breakfast session on "Charting the Course for Seamless Public-Private Transitions." Delegates at the breakfast session were invited to share perspectives and insights on actionable solutions that strike a balance between public integrity and corporate growth. This is against the backdrop that Nigeria has a strong, well-established code of conduct that regulates the transition between the public and the private sector, and the code of conduct has been adopted by many government parastatals. Our syndicate group spent time doing a deep dive into the various regulations and corporate governance frameworks on Transitions, recognising that confidence in corporate governance policies, the transition between public and private sector and the compliance levels of Nigeria’s corporate sector is a vital part of attracting investment. The conversations delved into examining broad sub-themes including - 1. The cooling off period of 3 years transitions: sufficient or needs a review to align best practices in other geographies and developed economies? 2. Are the regulations on Transitions effectively enforced and monitored? 3. What can be done differently as we look into the future. Discussants at my table included Dons from the Lagos Business School, DG of the Securities & Exchange Commision, Telco and Social enterprise execs, among others. The #NES30 indeed crystallized its central theme of "Collaborative Action for Growth, Competitiveness and Stability" over the 3-Day event at Transcorp Hilton. This is given the engagements and conversations that took place on future-proofing the Nigerian economy at the various plenaries, panel discussions, fire side chats and other sessions by glocal players. As I close out on my participation at the #NES30, I want to thank my visionary leader, Tony Edeh, GMD/CEO of Norrenberger, a quintessential builder of high performing executives, venture capitalist and futurist who believes in Nigeria's potential to be a strong economic force in the Global South. He tapped me to represent him at the very exciting and productive CEO session. Until the next time, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) #Economic #Economy #Summit #Reforms #Growth #Development

Full Stack Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Typescript || Javascript || React JS || Express JS || Node JS

After three fulfilling years at Norrenberger Financial Group, I’ve spent a month reflecting and gathering my thoughts. The experience has been nothing short of transformative. I joined as a Frontend Engineer, transitioned into a Fullstack Engineer, and was honored to lead the charge as the Ag Head of Technology and Innovation. The iconic orange wall at Norrenberger, with its inscriptions, was a constant reminder of who we were and the values we lived by every day. It was more than just words on a wall; it reflected the spirit of innovation, creativity, and transformation that fueled our work and drove us forward. My growth during this time wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my incredible team. To my colleagues who continue to push boundaries at Norrenberger Ganiyat Adebayo (PMP)®Samuel Maduka shedrach james Jamal Odey Izuchukwu Okoroma Emmanuella Osigwe Thomas Michael Toyi thank you for your continued dedication and hard work. Honorable mentions to Gift Etameta for the constant support and encouragement. Special thanks to the Group Managing Director, Tony Edeh, whose leadership and vision provided an environment that enabled me to thrive both personally and professionally. Norrenberger gave me the opportunity to grow not just as an engineer, but also as a leader. The dynamic environment cultivated my ability to lead with empathy, innovate with boldness, and embrace the future with confidence. I’m excited to share that I’m embarking on a new chapter at the BEBS Barcelona Executive Business School, where I’ll be expanding my leadership and innovative skills and exploring new opportunities. Today marks exactly SIX years since I first walked through the doors of Norrenberger and wow, what a journey it has been! The first picture takes me back to day 1—bright-eyed, eager, and ready to take on the world. Fast forward to day 2,192, and the second picture shows just how much I have evolved, not just in my role but as a leader and a professional. From starting as a newbie in the financial services industry to now leading a fantastic team at Norrenberger, the growth has been nothing short of incredible. I am grateful for every challenge that pushed me, every opportunity that shaped me, and most importantly, for those who believed in my abilities even before I fully believed in myself. To my colleagues (some turned family and friends), leaders—thank you for your trust, guidance, and encouragement. Your support has made all the difference on this journey. I couldn’t be more thankful, and I am excited for the limitless possibilities that lie ahead!
