    Ramadan is a period of spiritual growth, self-discipline, and reflection. For many professionals, it also means balancing work commitments with fasting from dawn to dusk. A little awareness and consideration can go a long way in creating an inclusive and supportive workplace. Here are a few ways we can show respect and support our colleagues during Ramadan: ✅ Be mindful of meeting times – Where possible, schedule key meetings earlier in the day when energy levels are higher. ✅ Respect break times – Those observing Ramadan may step away for prayers or to break their fast at sunset. ✅ Avoid assumptions – Not everyone observing Ramadan fasts in the same way, and some may choose not to at all. A simple “How can I support you?” can make a big difference. ✅ Show kindness and understanding – Fasting colleagues might be running on less energy, so patience and empathy go a long way. Creating an inclusive culture isn’t just about policies—it’s about the small, everyday actions that make colleagues feel valued and respected. Let’s continue to build workplaces where everyone can thrive, regardless of their faith or personal commitments. I’ve been thinking about writing a LinkedIn series on midlife career rebirth—how to navigate career plateaus, reinvention, and unexpected shifts after years of experience. I’ll only do it if 100 people comment "YES." Why? Because I am busy, and so are you, and I only want to do this if people genuinely want to read it; it is not just content to me. If enough people engage, I’ll share insights from 3,500+ hours of coaching conversations—but only if it matters to you. Is This You? You’ve built a solid career—senior leader, specialist, contractor with a strong track record. You should be in your prime, riding on expertise. But things feel different. 👉🏾 Momentum has slowed 👉🏾 You’re competing with hungrier, younger professionals 👉🏾 Opportunities feel scarce 👉🏾 You’re out of work or stuck Where Are You in the Career Cycle? 1️⃣ Early Growth – Learning, climbing the ladder 2️⃣ Peak Performance – Leading, achieving milestones 3️⃣ Plateau or Transition – Reassessing, facing new challenges Many professionals in their 40s and 50s hit stage 3 and feel lost.
