While engaging with our first 100 children in Ketu Slum through various activities like football, karate, and dance, we were struck by their enthusiasm and talent. Four exceptional children caught our attention, showcasing remarkable skills and potential. As we spoke with each of them, we discovered that they had been out of school, despite their evident desire to learn. We decided to support their education by enrolling them in school. To better understand their needs and provide comprehensive support, we chose to visit their families and familiarize ourselves with their home environments. This will enable us to provide a more tailored approach to helping them succeed. During our visit, we were struck by the stark reality of their living conditions. The families of these talented children are struggling to access basic necessities like food, clean water, and sanitation. We realized that their educational journey is intimately tied to their overall well-being, and that addressing these fundamental needs is crucial to their success.
