NASA Space Apps Challenge: Solve Real-World Challenges on Earth & in Space I was privileged to anchor and volunteer for the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Apps Challenge in Lagos, Nigeria! This global hackathon brings together coders, designers, scientists, and tech enthusiasts to solve real-world problems using open data from NASA. Growing up, I was always fascinated by flight and space exploration. As a software product manager, I’m still excited to pursue these interests. Only now did I realize how much of a game-changer NASA’s open data is. You could access it for future projects if you're interested building solutions in the space industry. During the challenge, teams presented solutions on: Agricultural GIS: Using NASA's open data to provide farming insights and solutions. Learning Systems: Enhancing accessibility to space technology learning resources. Climate Change: Predicting flood occurrences in Nigeria with advanced systems.
