Empowering Young Women, Building a Brighter Future: A Shared Vision with Mastercard Foundation! At YouthUp Global and our subsidiary Utidia, we share the MasterCard Foundation's commitment to empowering young women in Africa. We believe education is the foundation for a thriving continent, and we are proud to support initiatives that ensure girls and young women have access to quality education and opportunities to reach their full potential. Just as the Mastercard Foundation is working to deepen collaboration with ministries of education, universities, and schools across 10 African countries, we at YouthUp Global and Utidia are actively building a strong network of partners to create lasting impact. We are working with governments, schools, and community stakeholders to ensure education systems are responsive to the needs of girls and young women. We are particularly proud of our Young Females in STEM (YFSTEM) initiative, which is dedicated to supporting female education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through YFSTEM, we provide mentorship, workshops, and access to resources to inspire and empower young women to pursue careers in these critical fields. But education is only the first step. We also recognize the need for policies that empower young women beyond the classroom. Through Utidia's leading practical skills and talent marketplace, we are providing access to mentorship, and business networks to support young women as they transition into the workforce and build successful careers. Together, we can create a future where young women in Africa are empowered to thrive as employees and entrepreneurs. Interested in collaborating with us to empower young women in Africa? Reach out to us at projects@youthupglobal.com. Walking the Talk: From Dialogue to Action on Youth Unemployment in Africa! A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to speak at News Central TV about the critical issue of youth unemployment in Africa. I emphasized the need to address the skills gap and create more opportunities for young people. But talk is cheap, right? I'm proud to say that at YouthUp Global and Utidia cum Utidia Apprenticeship Institute (UAI), we're not just talking, we're taking action. We're building a future where young Africans have the skills and opportunities they need to thrive. Why is this so important? Youth unemployment in Africa is a crisis. Statistics paint a bleak picture: ▪️Over 60% of Africa's youth are unemployed, with rates even higher in some countries. ▪️This translates to millions of young people struggling to find meaningful work, trapping them in poverty and limiting their potential. We cannot afford to let this continue. At YouthUp Global, we believe in a future where young Africans are empowered to build a better tomorrow. We're doing this by: ▪️Providing access to quality education through scholarships and financial assistance. ▪️Equipping young people with in-demand skills through practical training programs. ▪️Fostering social impact by empowering young entrepreneurs to launch impactful ventures. ▪️Preparing young Africans for the digital economy through training and connections with global companies. This isn't just about jobs, it's about building a better Africa. We're always looking for partners and collaborators to join us in this mission. If you're passionate about empowering young Africans and want to make a real difference, reach out to us at projects@youthupglobal.com. Together, we can create a brighter future for Africa's youth. #FaithNwaobia #youthunemployment #Africa #socialimpact #education #entrepreneurship #remotework #skillsgap #YouthUpGlobal #Utidia

Good People, It's now evident that the rise of remote work is truly changing the game for African human capital development! Gone are the days of limited opportunities within geographical boundaries. Today, talent from across the continent can connect with global opportunities, driving development and unlocking potential. Here's how remote work is impacting Africa: • Access to Global Markets: Remote roles open doors to international companies and projects, expanding skill sets and career paths. • Increased Employability: African professionals gain valuable experience, working with diverse teams and learning new technologies, boosting their competitiveness. • Economic Empowerment: Remote work contributes to a more inclusive economy, creating opportunities for individuals in underserved areas and fostering entrepreneurship. • Talent Mobility: Remote opportunities enable skilled professionals to relocate to areas with better living conditions, enhancing their quality of life. This is why I founded YouthUp Global. I saw firsthand how young people in developing countries needed to be empowered to access these opportunities opening up from remote work in advanced economies. Youthup Global, a not-for-profit social enterprise, is committed to addressing youth unemployment through human capital development, focusing on quality education and social entrepreneurship. While precise data on the number of young people working remotely in Africa is limited, the continent's rapidly growing tech sector and the global rise of remote work point to a clear trend. A 2022 report by Upwork states that 35.9% of the global workforce works remotely at least part-time. It's reasonable to assume Africa is following this trend, albeit at a slightly slower pace. Organizations like YouthUp Global through our subsidiary Utidia cum Utidia Apprenticeship Institute (UAI) are actively training young people in digital skills, which are crucial for remote work, indicating a growing demand for and supply of remote workers in Africa. The future of work is remote, and Africa is leading the charge. Let's embrace this shift and invest in building a future where talent thrives, regardless of location. Our mission is to empower 2 Million Africans to access global opportunities by 2030... To support our program or to partner, write to us at projects@youthupglobal.com #FaithNwaobia #remotework #africanhumancapital #futureofwork #socialentrepreneurship #youth #Africa #empowerment #growth #YouthupGlobal #Utidia

Faith-Driven Entreprenuer | Empowering African Youths for Global Opportunities | Fixing Skills Gap Issues in Africa | Developing Talents and Connecting Job Opportunities | Expanding Christ's Kingdom

Good people, This a story of my faith-driven journey to empower African youth! My journey to address the skills gap in Africa is deeply personal. It's a story woven with the threads of faith, struggle, and a burning desire to make a difference. After graduating, I spent six long years navigating a challenging job market. Despite holding a second-class degree, I found myself stuck in a cycle of menial jobs, a reality shared by countless talented young people across Africa. This experience ignited a fire within me - a determination to understand the root causes of youth unemployment and underemployment. Almost two decades later, my journey has taken a different turn. My research revealed a stark truth: the skills gap and mismatch were major culprits. Young Africans lacked the necessary skills to compete for global opportunities, leaving them stuck in a cycle of limited potential and economic hardship. Driven by a deep faith in the power of human potential and fueled by a burning desire to create a better future, I resolved to act. My mission was clear: empower African youth with sustainable income opportunities through decent work and career opportunities. This vision led to the birth of YouthUp Global, a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to human capital development. We focused on providing quality education and encouraging youth entrepreneurship. Early support came from Professor Ndubuisi Ekekwe, through his renowned Tekedia Institute, where we managed scholarship programs. The Fred Brandon FLAMES Foundation also joined forces, providing crucial resources to empower African youth and launch them into the tech world. Fueled by that same unwavering faith, I took a leap of faith and launched Utidia, now becoming the largest Apprenticeship, Internship, and Mentorship Hub in Africa. Our educational arm, the Utidia Apprenticeship Institute (UAI), is leading the charge in democratizing apprenticeship education across the continent. This journey has been a testament to the power of faith, the resilience of the human spirit, and the transformative potential of skills development. My commitment to impact humanity and create a sustainable economic vehicle for Africa through skills development and access to global opportunities remains unwavering. Together, we can empower a generation of young Africans to reach their full potential and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Building towards the Africa we want! #FaithNwaobia #SkillsGap #YouthEmpowerment #TheAfricawewant #Education #Faith #Impact #Africa
