Here’s what makes Ace & Tate special to him, along with a glimpse into his daily routine. How do you educate customers about their eye health and the importance of regular check-ups at Ace & Tate? I always make sure customers understand that their prescriptions can change over time, and I’m upfront with them about it. If there’s a big difference in their new prescription, I might suggest a second eye test—factors like screen time can impact results. This honest approach shows we’re not just only here to sell glasses, and customers really appreciate that transparency. How do you create a positive and welcoming experience for all customers? I start by having a friendly chat to put them at ease. I clean the equipment in front of them and ask about their health, using their answers to keep the conversation natural and personal. I even share a little about myself to make things more relaxed. With my retail background, I also help guide them toward frames and lenses that suit them, making the whole experience more enjoyable and helpful. Inspired by Danny's story? Last week, 8 of our amazing colleagues rolled up their sleeves at Voedselbank Amsterdam to help pack food parcels for families in need. I stumbled into optics by chance but found it incredibly rewarding to help people see better and make a positive impact on their lives. I was drawn to Ace & Tate after a great conversation with their team, and I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and commitment to diversity. A friend’s recommendation and the company’s younger clientele and relaxed vibe made it the perfect fit for me. How do you educate patients about their eye health and the importance of regular check-ups at Ace & Tate? At Ace & Tate, educating patients about eye health and the importance of regular check-ups is a personalized approach. I aim to simplify complex information and avoid technical jargon.
