ADSE is proud to contribute to the future of air transportation for generations to come!   As a partner in the HOT (Hydrogen Optimization & Testing) project, ADSE is working on the development of an innovative hydrogen combustion fuel system. The system is to be implemented into the clean-sheet aircraft design of Fokker Next Gen (FNG), which shapes the future of sustainable aviation. ADSE’s contribution to this project focusses on the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Virtual Twin philosophies to the system conceptual design. It’s 2024 and AI is here to stay! Even Systems Engineering can benefit from AI, as Dennis de Koning, Ilja Achterberg and Jordy K. Houwen discovered last week. On behalf of ADSE Consulting and Engineering, they hosted an interactive INCOSE Systems Engineering workshop with 24 participants from diverse industries. It was a great hands-on experience where everyone learned a valuable lesson — sometimes, even systems engineers need to remember to step outside their box! 🔄 Throughout the workshop, they demonstrated the real value of a Systems Engineering approach, exploring complex transport systems and how to tackle major changes while keeping things running smoothly. 🚗✈️🚄 If your team wants to see the power of SE in action, we’d love to bring this workshop to you. On October 1st, we welcomed Mohammad Ali basha and Jeroen Rauws as new colleagues at ADSE Consulting and Engineering. Ali strengthens our team in the areas of maintenance, asset management, and ILS.   Jeroen is a familiar face at ADSE and returns to us after 12 years. He’s drawn by the challenging projects and the diversity of working for various clients. Jeroen is now the 9th colleague to return to ADSE, which we consider a great compliment! It killed the three-man crew, and 39 people on the ground. It's almost 22 years ago today, and this accident still resonates. This past weekend, 11 ADSE colleagues went for a sailing adventure between the beautiful islands of the Marker Wadden in The Netherlands. This yearly tradition has become something many of us look forward to. It’s a chance to disconnect from work and enjoy each other’s company on the open water.   We spent two nights on board of our ‘Bavaria 37’ boats, sailing from Lelystad to Enkhuizen, and back via the IJsselmeer. It’s always inspiring to sail with colleagues, some of whom are very experienced sailors. And it’s more than just a weekend trip.
