Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia announces today that Petr Pavlik is appointed as Brand President of local Czech brand Albert Česká republika as of April 1st. As Brand President of Albert, Petr Pavlik will continue Albert’s successful journey and further strengthen its strong position in the Czech Republic. At the same time, Jesper Lauridsen, current Brand President of Albert and COO of the Central and Southeastern Europe (CSE) region, will transition full-time into his role as COO of CSE. Jesper Lauridsen will ensure that the CSE brands are fully participating in and benefiting from Ahold Delhaize’s European scale and capabilities, making the most of the synergies. Today, Ahold Delhaize announces the successful pricing of our €500 million 8-year Sustainability-Linked Bond. This marks our third Sustainability-Linked Bond issuance, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable finance and our Healthy Communities and Planet strategic priority. Our Chief Financial Officer, Jolanda Poots-Bijl, stated, "This is Ahold Delhaize’s sixth bond incorporating ESG elements in the structure, since our first back in 2019. We are proud of the track record we have established in this space, and we consider this issuance as a reflection of our long-standing commitment to sustainability." The bond is linked to achieving our 2030 targets on reducing GHG emissions and food waste. Today, Ahold Delhaize announces the nomination of Per Bank for appointment to Ahold Delhaize’s Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board will propose his appointment alongside the proposal to reappoint Jan Zijderveld, to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders on April 9, 2025.    Furthermore, Bill McEwan, Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board, will step down from the Supervisory Board at the AGM 2025 after a longstanding and valuable tenure on Delhaize Group’s and Ahold Delhaize’s Supervisory Board since May 26, 2011.     Peter Agnefjäll, Chair of the Supervisory Board: “We would like to thank Bill for his significant and outstanding contributions during his tenure to the Supervisory Board and as Vice-Chair.
