Big Boyz Toyz (and for Girlz but it doesn't rhyme) Well, certainly not a toy and not Dynamic Advanced Training's either, but I am similarly excited to when I was a child and opened my Christmas present to find a box of Lego. As then and similarly now, the initial excitement gives way to a certain amount of frustration as the next part for assembly is hunted down and you realize that it is probably going to take longer than your limited amount of patience can cope with... Mustn't complain though, the simulator manufacturer's installation team is doing all the work... (but it is impossible to not get involved...). Congratulations to our partners Ansett Aviation Training for just announcing an agreement with Airbus Middle East and Africa whereby they will be supporting Airbus with its pilot training activities by enabling them access to this brand spanking new Airbus A320 full flight simulator built by AMST-Aviation B.V.. Building Confidence at AMST’s Suppliers Day On Thursday, June 27, 2024, we hosted AMST Suppliers Day at our Ranshofen HQ. The AMST team has once again excelled with a brilliantly organized event full of hospitality, warmth, team spirit, and significant benefits for all participants. What was on the agenda? Our guests received a short presentation on our company, its heritage, and our vision for the future. This was followed by a comprehensive tour of the workshop, where suppliers gained in-depth insights from our subject matter experts into the training equipment we create. After enjoying a proper Austrian lunch in our meeting facilities, transformed into a beautiful restaurant by our staff, it was playtime! Participants engaged with various interactive stations, including VR training for rescue helicopter crews, flying in the simulator, and night vision training. A special highlight was the visit by AMST’s founder, Richard Schlüsselberger Sr., who used the opportunity to meet old friends and discuss recent technical developments. In the quest for creating high-quality products, the backbone of any successful company lies in its suppliers. Exceptional suppliers are not just vendors; they are crucial partners who play a very important role in our success story. We believe that for our teamwork to truly succeed, it's important for our suppliers to fully understand what we do, our goals, and the challenges we face. This knowledge helps us work better together. Suppliers Day is the perfect opportunity to provide this understanding and strengthen our bonds in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. But the day was not just about us sharing information; it was also about listening. We had numerous conversations with our suppliers, giving them the chance to voice their thoughts and suggestions.
