According to the International Transport Union, there is a shortage of around 400,000 drivers in the European market, with more than 80,000 in Poland. Therefore, in logistics, it is crucial to effectively utilize the driver's working time, maximizing the time spent on trips and minimizing the time spent on stops.’ That’s why the decision at Greenyard Frozen Poland to automate the vehicle loading and unloading process—reducing trailer loading time from 45 minutes to just 3 minutes—is such a great step forward! The automatic trailer loading/unloading system at the Lipno plant unloads a vehicle in about 10 minutes and then reloads it, significantly increasing transport utilization and efficiency during peak production seasons.
