A picture is worth a thousand words, but it never really captures all the effort that goes into setting up complex tests! 🤓 Here’s a quick look at the setup for the test of a shear web attachment test on our #composite #lattice #satellite central tube cylinder using digital image correlation. This attachment sustained a 6500N loading without slip or failure, passing all design criteria. Developing & managing advanced tests like this are a common part of what we do in ATG Engineering!
