Within the Eurostars consortium, we had the first opportunity to physically meet with all the team members at the Panton office in Deventer. It’s impressive how much you can achieve in one day when combining the expertise of many different people in one project. In the upcoming period, we’ll be working on a wearable respiratory sensor based on dEMG (diaphragmatic ElectroMyoGraphy) to predict deterioration and improvement in hospitalized children with respiratory diseases. Home monitoring for children with asthma

Asthmaware aims to improve the disease management of asthma in children. We are developing a monitoring system that consists of a smart-textile shirt and a mobile application. The system uses high-end sEMG technology to evaluate breathing activity during sleep.
