I’ve been able to explore various areas of the business, based on my own interests. This way, I got to learn about and contribute to the company, while also discovering myself as a professional. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  The group project really stands out. I worked within an interdepartmental team, collaborating with people with different personalities and backgrounds – far more diverse than in a regular team. It’s been amazing to discover these differences and learn to capitalise on them. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲?  It has been a great way to get to know the company and find my place at BDR Thermea. It has given me the chance to understand various business operations and work with many colleagues from different teams and departments. It has also helped me become a more self-aware professional and grow.  

Last week, our 'One Team' value took on a very literal meaning as we welcomed the BAXI Ferrol women’s basketball team to our Baxi Iberia office in Barcelona. Joan Blanch, Managing Director of BDR Thermea Iberia, gave the team a tour of our facilities. Our Baxi colleagues were honoured with a signed shirt, and we wish BAXI Ferrol the best of luck in their upcoming games! #OneTeam #BAXIFerrol #BaxiIberia

Our programme strengthens our community while our graduates become our future leaders or subject matter experts.   𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 Gabriele Gonzales, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥&𝗗 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲  𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲?   I was able to meet and work with many people from all over the company. Speaking with individuals from different backgrounds, countries, and with different levels of experience allowed me to learn so much on a professional level.    𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  Thinking back, the moments that stand out are actually the everyday moments of collaboration within my team. The times I worked together with my colleagues to solve a specific problem, to accomplish a common goal, were valuable experiences.    𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲?  I got insight into the dynamics and inner workings of a multinational organisation such as BDR Thermea Group. I now know more about large-scale projects that require collaboration and organisation across different sites. On a personal level, presenting our project to people of varying levels of seniority, ranging from juniors to CEOs, internally and externally, boosted my public speaking skills and taught me to adapt my speech to my audience.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁: Nina Scholtz, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿   𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲? It was a great way for me to enter the corporate world. The programme was well-structured for learning and exploring within the company, as I uncovered new interest areas and potential careers. The support I received was invaluable, alongside the connections and support from other graduates.   𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀? The programme was full of memorable highlights, including connecting with the sustainability team. I was encouraged to be my authentic self, which strengthened our team bond and also deepened my engagement in the projects. Now, I'm looking forward to my upcoming assignment in Bassano, Italy!   𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲? It familiarised me with the company and its culture. In my first few months, I had a mentor to guide me, and an external coach to help me transition into the corporate environment. This helped me to discover my passion within the company and gave me the freedom to explore new opportunities without any constraints! I'm happy I took this route, as I have grown a lot since my first day.

Universities are brimming with talent and exciting ideas. That’s especially true for Denmark’s DTU University, which recently partnered with BDR Thermea Group on an initiative inviting six students to develop a return system for our solar collectors. This was a great opportunity for us as a company to gain valuable insights on how to apply circular principles to parts of our business, and for the students to use BDR Thermea as a case study.    #sustainability #energytransition

End users rely on the expertise of installers when choosing a suitable heating technology. This means installers have a vital role to play in the energy transition, as they are doing the daily work to decarbonise heating. We aim to ensure that installers can spend their time and resources on installing heating solutions in people’s houses. In this video, Arthur van Schayk, Managing Director Remeha, explains how Remeha’s experience centres aim to relieve installers of the advisory role that takes up a lot of their valuable time directly advising end users. Meanwhile, collaboration is key, which is why the centre will also be used by local installers to host information sessions as well. #hvac #energytransition #installerofthefuture

BDR Thermea Group today announces the appointment of Ronald Eikelenboom as Chief Financial Officer. Eikelenboom will start on 1 October 2024. Christian Sieg, Managing Director BDR Thermea Germany emphasises the crucial role that heating has in the energy transition, given that it makes up 40% of EU energy consumption and CO2 emissions. But shifting to renewables is a profound change that requires a reinvention of our energy system. This process may look very different for individual buildings. Christian mentions that there may be additional challenges for older houses especially, which is why we guide our customers through this process. We offer a wide range of heating solutions such as hybrids, which allow customers to grow towards renewable energy over the years.  #hvac #energytransition
