When one door closes, another one opens 🏢
Today I said goodbye to our first ever office on the beautiful Herengracht. How lucky I felt to find such a place during the pandemic. Having an office as an entrepeneur is a big milestone and I could never have imagined our first office would sit on the most picturesque canal in Amsterdam - the Goude Bocht. I loved the daily walk or cycle to work following the heart of the canal belt and into the space where we would support and provide training to hundreds of Blue Road Academy participants across 6 countries over the past 3 years - it's amazing what you can accomplish from one small room! Yes, sure, the building was creaky, cold, and a little bit haunted 👻 now and then but overall it was a very special place.
Written on the balcony of Herengracht 495 is "Omnia orta occidunt" or "All things that rise fall." A reminder that everything that comes into existence eventually declines or will pass away - so focus on what matters and make the most of it! Do the best you can today and every day - for yourself, your friends and family, and your community - and keep moving forward.
Now, onto the next chapter - hello #Lelylaan! We are ready for it and have moved into our new space in Lelylaan in a shared office with our friends at spriteCloud. Thank you so much Mark Barzilay and the entire SpriteCloud team for making us feel at home already. We are so thrilled to be settling into a fresh, new space designed with our team and future growth in mind. With new collaborative spaces, modern interior, and a large event space, we’re all set to make the most of this next chapter! 🚀
