Koos van Haasteren is op 15 oktober jl. gestart als Executive Director van Chemelot. Hij volgt Loek Radix op in deze rol. Vanuit zijn passie voor het slagen van de energietransitie en circulaire chemie wil van Haasteren maximaal bijdragen aan een blijvend concurrerend en duurzaam Chemelot. “Mijn eerste stappen in de industrie mocht ik op Chemelot maken. Sindsdien fungeert de site nog steeds als de groeimotor van de regio, met meer dan 8.000 arbeidsplaatsen. Om dit duurzaam voort te kunnen zetten zullen we samen op enorme schaal dingen moeten gaan doen, die wereldwijd nog niet eerder vertoond zijn. Daarvoor is ondernemerschap, innovatie, overtuiging, volharding, inspanning, infrastructuur en vooral samenwerking tussen alle belanghebbenden van cruciaal belang. 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 🚀 𝗛𝘆𝟮𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲® 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲® 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 We are proud to announce the completion of the second phase of our clinical trial, with the treatment of the 46th patient using the CartRevive® hydrogel implant. After receiving approval from the Medical Ethical Review Committee of UMC Utrecht earlier this year, we continued the study with an additional group of 36 patients. The trial is conducted in collaboration with Dutch hospitals, including UMC Utrecht, Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis (ETZ), Maastricht UMC+, and Martini Ziekenhuis in Groningen. The CartRevive® hydrogel implant represents a promising solution for optimal cartilage repair in the knee, addressing a significant unmet clinical need. Initial results from the first cohort are promising, and we look forward to sharing the complete findings.
