A breakthrough in Wall Plug Efficiency (WPE) for UV-C LED Packages An UV-C LED package with our patented FCS technology inside (liquid metal mirror and interconnects) shows a 23 % increase in light output in a direct comparison with a commercially available package with a gold mirror and 1st level solder interconnects. Preceding UV/VIS measurements on the materials showed already very promising results (still 83 % reflectivity at 250 nm), but the practical contribution is best shown by stripping LED packages and rebuilding them with FCS.
