🚀 🚀 🚀 The #xShare project just concluded a successful X-Bundle retreat in Thessaloniki, Greece, thanks to our partners and invited contributors, CEN/TC 251 Health Informatics, DIGITALEUROPE, Fondazione Gabriele Monasterio Regione Toscana CNR, Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), Gnomon Informatics SA, HL7 Europe, IDIKA SA - e-Government Center for Social Security Services, IHE-Europe, Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, MEDIQ - Medical Informatics and Quality Development , National eHealth Authority of Cyprus, the University of Cyprus, Telemedicine Technologies, TIC Salut Social Foundation, UNINOVA, Andaman7 and Fyrstain.  Online participants included CDISC and EHTEL - Collaborating for Digital Health and Care in Europe. 👉 We were able to move towards connecting X-Bundles to the #xShareYellowButton as well as connecting 💼 business use cases to the registry for relevant X-Bundles. The partners and Panayiotis Savva , Technical Coordinator of the Xt-EHR project discussed collaborating closely in order to pave the way to an accelerated experimentation and integration of #EEHRxF into innovative services and products. 🔜 The first version of the #xShareYellowButton (0.1) will be based on HL7 FHIR as will the EEHRxF and the Patient Summary on HL7 FHIR IPS 1.1.0. An xShare Button Implementation Guide will soon be available for consultation. ✅ Elements of proof-of-concept implementations were already showing cases engaging myHealth@EU, the EUDI Wallet, and SmartHealthLinks. These achievements sparked insightful technical discussions on how an API and example architecture will work in the near future. The team is now well positioned to hold an engaging demonstration at the EEHRxF Summit in November with participation of at least 3 countries, 1 region, 3 hospitals, and 2 SMEs across Europe! ☝ Stay tuned! #interoperability #EEHRxF #HorizonEurope

The document for submitting a driving license online to a verifier has been published on the International Standard Organization (ISO) website. This version includes two protocols for submitting the document. ISO/IEC 18013-5 describes the interface and requirements for the functionality of the driving license on a mobile device. However, the mechanisms described in this document have been designed to support other domains, including identity documents, and will likely open up new opportunities for storing and sharing attestations in the EUDI Wallet, e.g. #ePrescriptions #mDL #EUDIW https://lnkd.in/dD7XaXdG

New timetable for #EHDS, the #European #Health #Data #Space: At today's meeting of the #eHealth Network's #Semantics Subgroup in #Brussels - brilliantly chaired by my colleague from the Swedish eHealth Agency, Daniel Karlsson and well organised by the #EuropeanCommission - the Head of Digital Health Unit in #DGSANTE, Fulvia Raffaelli, informed us about a slightly revised timeline for #EHDS due to continued linguistic adjustments: - Expected final adoption in the #EuropeanParliament in December. - Published in #OfficialJournal of the EU early 2025. - Entry into force 20 days after publication - February 2025? #eHälsomyndigheten

Another country whose citizens make the trip to the Hajj has implemented the International Patient Summary (#IPS) standards developed and maintained by ISO - International Organization for Standardization, CEN/TC 251 Health Informatics, Health Level Seven International, IHE International and SNOMED International. The World Health Organization has contributed to this uptake by creating guidance on IPS implementation, specifically for pilgrims to the Hajj. Approximately 200,000 Muslims make the Hajj pilgrimage, a mandatory religious duty, from Indonesia to Saudi Arabia each year. But since pilgrims come from many different places across the globe, it's important to use an international standard like the IPS to make cross-border healthcare easier and safer.
