MOḌA FEST · DREAM Join us Sunday, 27 October for MOḌA Fest: Dream at Centraal Museum between 11am and 5pm. We’re happy to introduce to you the DAR Salon, a curated series of programs in which we dive deeper into the fashion stories from Morocco and the Moroccan Diaspora. This Sunday will be the first out of 3 editions in which the MOḌA exhibition comes to life. MOḌA Fest is a festival-like afternoon in which we explore the power of dreams and imagination. During the DAR Salon, we sit down with Mounir Raji, Meryem Slimani and her mother and muze Khaltou Najate to talk about the reality of their dreams. There will be room for you to ask your questions to them, about their practice and photography. We’ll get together in the amazing space in the expo created by Hassan Hajjaj, in which he sends us the message to stay awake. Part of the DAR Salon is a screening of the film The Blue Caftan, a ceramics workshop focussing on on Barakah, which means blessings, by Yuro Moniz and a dream inspired dance performance by Simomo Bouj While you visit DAR Salon during MOḌA fest, you also have the chance to visit an amazing lecture by Fatima Essahsah on ‘Dreams and Cultural Heritage’ @stonestories and a live recording of radio Atay Atelier with Khadija Maros and Samira Charroud, a live music intermezzo by North African Djamm and don’t forget to bring a family picture to the photo embroidery workshop, so you can leave with your own art work inspired by the work of Meriem Yin. All events are free with a valid museum ticket, no registration is required. Yallah, let’s get together! 2. © Photo: Floor Besuijen 3. © Mounir Raji / Mastoor 4. © The Blue Caftan, Maryam Touzani 5. © Meryem Slimani 6. © Yuro Moniz 7. © Meriem Yin
