We are proud to announce that Centrient has become one of the first pharmaceutical companies to successfully pass the AMR Surveillance Audit conducted by BSI at our Santa Perpetua manufacturing site! As a key contributor to the development of the BSI and AMR Industry Alliance certification scheme, this audit assessed our operations to ensure they fully align with the rigorous AMR IA Antibiotic Manufacturing Standard and to assess the robustness of the certification process itself. Our commitment to sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices was validated as the manufacture and packaging of our APIs were found to fully conform with the standard. This is a critical step forward in our ongoing fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and it highlights Centrient's dedication to leading the way in responsible antibiotic production. Our CEO, Rex Clements, recently visited our Yushu biosynthetic manufacturing site in China, where we produce key intermediates for our foundational medicines. With a €5 million expansion underway, we’re enhancing capacity, efficiency, and sustainability to ensure high-quality, life-saving treatments for patients worldwide.
