Over ons
Ceradis Crop Protection B.V. Ceradis was founded in 2005 by Wim van der Krieken as a spin-off of Wageningen University & Research. As a former scientist of WUR, Wim had spent approx. 15 years on divers science projects on the borderline of chemistry and biology and wrote several patents for WUR. The knowledge developed over that time period is still an important asset for Ceradis today. With the spin-off of Ceradis from Wageningen University Research gave an exclusive license to Ceradis on a number of important formulation patents and gave the first right of refusal on new developed technology in the fungicide crop protection. At the same time, WUR became a major shareholder of Ceradis and continue to be that today. In 2009 Ceradis started its research center in Bogota, Colombia. In this location, close to the equator, Ceradis can combine year-round field trials and quick product evaluation to speed-up the product development cycle. Today, Ceradis Colombia plays also an important role in the sales and support of the Latin American market. Vision To create safer food for mankind by developing and marketing products that are cleaner and safer for user and environment at comparable price / performance to conventional products. Mission To be the preferred partner and provider of innovative formulation technology in crop protection and plant nutrition for the worldwide agricultural industry.

Midwest growers face a new challenge with Red Crown Rot, a yield-threatening disease that is on the rise. To help address this issue, CeraMax biological seed treatment will be available under a Section 2(ee) label for the suppression of Red Crown Rot in soybeans. States where CeraMax Section 2(ee) labeling applies are Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Red Crown Rot, caused by the fungus Calonectria ilicicola, infects soybean seedlings within the first three weeks after germination. The disease spreads primarily through infected soil and crop residue, leading to yield losses ranging from 10% to 80% in severely affected fields, depending on environmental conditions. #redcrownrot #soybeans #ceramax

The Kline Group has identified CeraMax biological seed treatment as a 'game-changing' product within the Top 5 Crop Protection Trends to Watch in 2025.
