We are very pleased to announce our strategic partnership with Avebe, a global leader in potato starch and protein. This partnership will focus on converting Avebe’s residual potato juice into high-value circular fatty acids and fertilizers through ChainCraft’s innovative fermentation technology. The partnership forms a strong basis for the realization of our first full scale factory for which the option of Ter Apelkanaal, Groningen, on and near the premises of Avebe is currently being developed. For this collaboration a Heads of Agreement has been signed recently by David Fousert (CEO at Avebe) and Niels Van Stralen (Founder & CGO at ChainCraft). With this partnership we will make significant impact on energy and carbon footprint reduction, turning the chemical industry circular! We are very happy to announce Marc den Hartog as our new CEO. Marc joins from Renewi, where he was a member of the executive committee and Managing director of the Commercial Waste Division in the Netherlands. Previously, Marc has also held a number of executive positions at Corbion, where he served as COO and later as their Executive vice president for the BU Innovation Platforms. Before that, he held senior positions at CSM Bakery Ingredients and IOI Loders Croklaan and started his career with Unilever. Marc brings a wealth of experience in scaling and leading businesses, where innovation, sustainability and global partnerships are at the heart of their success. As ChainCraft is entering the next phase in its up-scaling journey, its leadership team will further evolve. Current CEO and Founder Niels Van Stralen will step aside after 14 years and will take a leading director's role in strategy and business development.  We are delighted to welcome Marc to ChainCraft. His background and personality have a perfect fit with the activities and values of ChainCraft. This marks a major achievement in our growth as a mature scale-up, which requires different leadership for the phase to come.
