𝗢𝗻 𝗔 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗺 – 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 From October 31, 2024, to January 31, 2025, we proudly present the exhibition "𝗢𝗻 𝗔 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗺" in the lobby of our 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹. Three promising young photographers – Tessa van de Boogaard, Lonneke van der Palen and Elizabeth Barrette – showcase their works, revealing how the extraordinary can be found in the everyday. This exhibition, carefully curated by Rana Ayvaz, is free and accessible to all visitors. With this initiative, initiated by our CEO Gunay Uslu, we provide emerging local artists with a unique platform to display their work to a broad and diverse audience. Whether they are tourists, business guests, or local residents, everyone can enjoy a remarkable artistic experience in our lobby, an unexpected setting. Ranging from dreamy and intimate to graphic and aesthetic, the photography of these three artists creates an intriguing dialogue between light, shadow, and the beauty of everyday life. Today, we would like to introduce you to Jordi Majoor, our hotel manager, who will share his experiences with sustainability in our historic The College Hotel. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱? Our biggest accomplishment this year has been transforming The College Hotel into an even more stunning place through an incredible renovation by Piet Boon. Besides that, we have also made remarkable investments in eco-friendly lighting inside the minibars and water-saving faucets and showers. Additionally, we have linked the air-conditioning system with the heaters, so they cannot be turned on at the same time. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳? I am extremely proud of our entire team at The College Hotel for working together to achieve the Gold Green Key certification. We would have expected that achieving the gold certificate would not be possible because of the historical status of the building. Well, we made it happen! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲?
