DIRECTIEWISSEL OPHANDEN BIJ COW HILLS   Cow Hills, leverancier van kassasoftware voor centraal geleide retailketens, kondigt een directiewissel aan per 1 januari 2025.   November 2022 verkochten oprichters en huidige directie, Kees van der Veldt en Mark De Graaf, tezamen met investeringsmaatschappij NewPort Capital uit Amsterdam 100% van de aandelen in Cow Hills aan DL Software uit Parijs, een software conglomeraat, dat recent een naamswijziging onderging naar Orisha Group.   Afspraak bij deze overname was, dat beide oprichters nog twee jaar aan zouden blijven om een nieuw directieteam voor de toekomst te formeren en om een soepele overgang naar de nieuwe eigenaar te bewerkstelligen.   Na bijna 20 jaar Cow Hills geven Kees van der Veldt en Mark de Graaf het stokje per 1 januari 2025 door aan een vierkoppig directieteam, dat zal bestaan uit bekende namen uit de huidige organisatie, te weten Ed de Jong als COO, Paul Vermeulen als CTO en Magchiel van den Berg als CFO. Joost Vugts, een bekend en gerespecteerd gezicht uit de retailsector, zal het viertal completeren en als eindverantwoordelijke het kantoor in de functie van CEO leiden naar de volgende fase van ontwikkeling. Van der Veldt en De Graaf, in de periode 1994-2004 reeds succesvol in de retail softwaremarkt met BK Vision, richtten in 2006 Cow Hills op met Nederlandse en Belgische, centraal geleide retailketens als doelgroep. Met toonaangevende retailers als Blokker, HEMA, Hunkemöller en Zeeman textielSupers wist het nieuwe bedrijf al snel een indrukwekkende gebruikersgroep aan zich te binden. In 2016 verruimde het bedrijf zijn blikveld met de stap naar Zuid-Afrika, om sindsdien ook daar retailketens van dienst te zijn met state-of-the-art kassasoftware uit het Nederlandse Maarn. Joost Vugts treedt per 1 juli 2024 in dienst bij Orisha | Cow Hills, om na een periode van gedegen onboarding de Cow Hills organisatie verder uit te bouwen binnen de business unit Orisha Retail Chains. Vugts verdiende de afgelopen decennia zijn sporen in de retail als International Business Development Executive bij Centric en daarna als Sales Director bij het Zweedse Voyado. "Met een bewezen trackrecord in Sales & Business Development én zijn bekendheid bij bijna alle Cow Hills relaties, is Joost de droomkandidaat om het van ons over te nemen. Zijn frisse kijk op zaken, innovatieve mindset en easy-going karakter past precies bij onze organisatie," aldus Van der Veldt. "We hebben er alle vertrouwen in, dat zijn expertise en leiderschap Orisha | Cow Hills zal helpen de leidende positie in het retail landschap te behouden en verder uit te breiden."   Kees van der Veldt en Mark de Graaf blijven na overdracht als non-executives betrokken bij Orisha | Cow Hills, enerzijds om de business in Zuid-Afrika verder uit te breiden, anderzijds als M&A adviseurs voor Orisha Group. All transactions must be stored in chronological order on a digital 'roll' and encrypted.   Finally, ISAE 3402 🥇 ISAE 3402 (International Standard on Assurance Engagements) is an international standard that focuses on the control of processes and services outsourced to us by our clients. The main objective of ISAE 3402 is to provide our customers with insight into the effectiveness of the control measures we have implemented in our processes.
