🌊 Looking Back at Our Water Management Mission! 🌊 This week, we wrapped up a successful water management mission in the Netherlands, where Czech companies explored innovations, shared expertise, and built new connections in the sector. 💡 A recap of our journey: 📅 Day 1 – Aquatech Amsterdam We had the opportunity to connect with water management professionals from all over the world, explore the latest innovations, and showcase Czech expertise in water management. 📅 Day 2 – Water Management in Practice The second day focused on real-world applications of water management technologies. We visited the RWZI wastewater treatment plant in Leeuwarden, where we gained insights into modern wastewater treatment methods. Another highlight was the visit to the D.F. Woudagemaal steam pumping station in Lemmer, the world’s largest operational steam-powered station and a UNESCO-listed site, which still plays a key role in flood protection. The day concluded with discussions on drinking water quality with experts from the Netherlands, Estonia, and Latvia. 📅 Day 3 – Amsterdam’s Canals A guided tour offered insights into the city's rich history and modern water management challenges. This mission brought valuable knowledge, new connections, and fresh inspiration for future innovations. 🏆 Chart Ferox's hydrogen tanks will be part of Europe's largest hydrogen storage facility! 🏆 For the third time, the Czech company Chart Ferox has been awarded the prestigious Innovative Company of the Ústí nad Labem Region title. This recognition was given for a groundbreaking project—the production of five specially insulated liquid hydrogen tanks, which will be part of Europe’s largest hydrogen storage facility in Rotterdam. This project is the first of its kind and marks a significant step in building Europe’s hydrogen infrastructure. 👏 Congratulations to the entire Chart Ferox team for this achievement!

🎮 Seems like year 2025 might be THE year for Czech gaming industry! 📈Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the second highest scored PC game of this year, with the playercount peak going up every day since its launch on February 4th to February 9th, where it has reached its final (for now?) peak at 256 206 players. ⚔️ Who would have guessed that so many people would love experiencing the hard life of a commoner in medieval Bohemia?

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to join the Municipality of Rotterdam on a 'safari ride' through the largest industrial area in the Netherlands, the Rotterdam Spaanse Polder and North-West, home to over 1,200 companies. We were given an insightful tour of Euro-Caps by CEO Nils Clement, who showed us their coffee capsule production lines and shared the remarkable growth story of their global business in Spaanse Polder. The Municipality of Rotterdam also presented the Area Vision 2035, aiming to make Spaanse Polder the world's greenest and most sustainable industrial zone for heavy industry by 2035. A big thank you goes to Gemeente Rotterdam for the hospitality and business inspiration, especially for Czech companies.
