DuFor Polyester Specialties

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 💡   All students are enjoying their well-deserved summer break. Before the start of the school vacations, our colleague Thijmen Heres visited Rijn IJssel College to give a stimulating guest lecture on polymer chemistry.   Rijn IJssel, an impressive MBO school with 23 campuses in 10 cities and around 11,700 students, is a true breeding ground for future talent.   The aim of the guest lecture was to inspire the students, our future colleagues in the lab, and give them a better insight into what it means to work in polymer chemistry. The session covered topics and applications that Thijmen deals with on a daily basis at DuFor.   It was great to see how curious and engaged the group of students was. Questions ranged from how to clean PET bottles to how to prevent pollution. Thijmen also enthusiastically shared his experiences about recyclable artificial turf and 3D printing bridges.

Hierdoor kunt u optimaal profiteren van de voordelen van gerecycled materiaal en duurzame ontwerpen. Het is één van de onderdelen van 𝗥𝗲𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰, de visie van DuFor, die gericht is op het minimaliseren van afval, het verlengen van de levensduur van materialen, en het bevorderen van recycling en hergebruik van polyesterproducten.
