Resources and services for research communities to translate scientific discoveries into patient benefit
Over ons
EATRIS is the European infrastructure for translational medicine. We bring together resources and services for research communities to translate scientific discoveries into benefits for patients. We provide access to a vast array of pre-clinical and clinical expertise and facilities that are available within 115+ top-tier academic centres across Europe. We focus on improving and optimising preclinical and early clinical development of drugs, vaccines and diagnostics, and overcome barriers to health innovation. Our research infrastructure offers a broad range of research services for both academia and industry across various research fields. In addition, we work with public funding agencies, charities and policy makers with tailored actions to help improve the translational research and innovation ecosystem.

David Morrow PhD MBA (EATRIS Senior Scientific Programme Manager) chaired a panel discussion this week at the Advanced Therapies Congress in Philadelphia on how we can address the growing skills shortage in the Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products (#ATMPs) field. 🗣️The expert panel included Stephanie Maistrellis (CEO, Lead Life Sciences), Angela Justice (Chief People Officer, Justice Group Advisors) and Craig Hasilo (CSO, CATTI), who discussed different priorities and possible solutions to entice, train and retain the next generation of experts to ensure effective delivery of ATMPs to patients. 👩💻 EATRIS launched a new online course on cell & gene therapy (ATMP) development in 2023 to make the innovative and challenging field of ATMPs more accessible for the next generation of ATMP developers (i.e. early-career biomedical PhDs, postdocs), doctors in training, clinicians and other professionals. 👉 Explore it here: https://lnkd.in/dJnscfMV #GeneTherapies #CellTherapies
