📢Really excited to announce something that I've been working on for a few months now.... ♻️Today marks the official launch of *The Alliance for Fibre-Based Packaging* to provide an expert voice for the fibre-based packaging industry The Alliance represents members from across the #fibre-based #packaging value chain from raw materials to retailers. Instinctif Partners and Dram Communications will provide the secretariat. What a privilege to be working alongside Huhtamaki Seda International Packaging Group Benders Paper Cups ProAmpac Sonoco Coveris UK Sabert Corporation Graphic Packaging International - Europe ECMA - European Carton Makers Association AVA: The Vending & Automated Retail Association - and more exciting members (to be announced) - to represent all fibre-based and fibre-based composite packaging formats. The Alliance will: ♻️ Facilitate representation in the detailed implementation of Packaging EPR (pEPR) as the UK moves to the producer pays model, ensuring a level playing field between materials ♻️ Work to ensure the maximum acceptability of fibre-based packaging within the UK’s fibre collection and recycling system ♻️ Provide representation for the fibre-based packaging sector in future recycling and waste policy development.
